Francisco Pizarro should be viewed as a villain in history because of mistreat of everyone and his selfishness. He used the natives and he disobeyed orders for the selfishness of wanting gold for himself. He killed over thousands of Incans because he wanted to be accounted for finding land and gold. Regardless of his situation as a child, you should not kill various people for your own selfish reasoning. "Then he told him all the information he had received. Atahualpa answered, saying: "Are you laughing at me? You are always making jokes when you speak to me. What am I and all my people that we should trouble such valiant men as you are? Do not talk such nonsense to me." He said all this without betraying a sign of anxiety" (Capture of an Inca King: Francisco Pizarro, 2000, www.historycentral.com/dates/1521ad.html). Francisco was breaking up the people of the Incan Empire, he disturbed the peace of their society and religion. Yes, he found a great land in South America, but he ended a valuable religion, due to his desire of glory and gold.

Pizarro took part in activities that harmed societies and destroyed the fair treatment of humankind. He abused the natives and worked them in dangerous situations, which resulted in death. His wrongdoings influenced others to do the same so they could riches which isn't fair. If he were in the natives shoes, he'd feel it was unfair treatment as well. Francisco should have kept moving and found an unclaimed place and found riches of his own. He technically did not find Peru because the Incans were already settled there. He technically stole the land from them. Francisco Pizarro is a villain for his mistreatment of people while on his way to finding Peru and while in Peru.
